The Story of BeeReaL
Welcome to our apiary! My name is Volodymyr Salamakha, and I am the visionary founder of the BeeReaL community - though certainly not its only creator. I call it a community because it was shaped within a circle of close friends and kindred spirits. Each person who took part in its development left their own unique mark and brought something new to the journey.
We are all an integral part of the vast ecosystem of our home planet. And we all enjoy the magnificent, colorful landscapes gifted to us by nature. During a well-earned vacation, we often seek a quiet place - to escape the noise of the city, to spend time with loved ones, to dream about the future and reflect on timeless things. That’s exactly how I discovered this profession for myself. Perhaps even a lifetime wouldn’t be enough to fully understand these fascinating creatures. Each bee colony is a unique organism with its own character and a wide range of individual traits. They are seamlessly woven into the global ecosystem, almost invisibly transforming our planet into a blooming garden, enriching it with the fruits of their labor. Around 70% of the fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts we consume exist thanks to bees. The majority of plants also survive and reproduce with their help. And that’s just a grain of sand in the ocean of benefits these amazing insects provide. Another remarkable fact - bees have existed on our planet longer than humans. They predate us by about 50,000 years. Bees are among the most socially advanced species of insects, rivaled only by ants. That’s why they are of great interest to many scientific studies and observations. And for all these reasons, we have chosen to dedicate part of our time and attention to studying them.
Symbiosis with Nature
The core idea and philosophy of our community is caring for the ecology and the environment of our planet. A gradual movement toward a biogenic civilizationthat, at the same time, does not contradict the technological advancement of humanity. Absolutely anyone can be inspired by our idea and embody it through their own actions, independently of us - this is the essence of BeeReaL's philosophy. To influence the situation at the level that is relevant for you. And step by step, through the right progressions, this will one day transform our planet - for the better - beyond recognition.
The described vector is about caring for ourselves and for future generations. We do not make loud claims that we will save the planet from something irreversible or catastrophic. The planet will most likely take care of itself by launching a new cycle and temporarily incorporating into the ecosystem the remnants of what once dominated its surface. Until, through multiple metamorphoses, favorable conditions emerge for the development of new biological species. But I’m afraid, in that world, there may be no placeleft for us. o we are saving ourselves - from the current situation, from the irrational use of resources, from the dominant and often unjustified technocracy, and at times from our own ignorance. And when we overcome all these obstacles, then both we and the generations to come will have the opportunity to live and discover a better world.
